The Bosch unit in Braga belongs to the Automotive Electronics division and is focused on making the vehicles our third living space. The company supplies infotainment, display, connectivity and HMI solutions for passenger cars, trucks and two-wheelers. Your contribution to something big:

• Analysing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models;
• Develop, maintain, and manage software modules for advanced/state-of-the-art reporting, analytics, dashboards and other solutions;
• Implementing data strategies, developing physical data model, and the integration between the various existing information systems;
• Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases;
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation and data mining;
• Provide authentication and authorizations for productive databases;
• Code deployment and technical documentation;
• Ensure that project specifications, quality and deadlines are fulfilled;
• Take responsibility for design principles to be used at work;
• Frontend development of web applications based on intuitive UX/UI design;
• Backend development of APIs and micro-services.

What distinguishes you:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Business Informatics;
• Minimum 2 years of experience as professional software developer;
• Advanced skills in programming with JAVA, Python, Javascript, Typescript, React;
• Expert knowledge in relational database design and SQL (Oracle and MS SQL);
• Know-how in JHipster and HTML/CSS, Angular, JHipster, Docker Swarm, Spring Boot, Jenkins or Spark would be a plus;
• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures like micro services;
• Experiences in building dashboards with business intelligence applications like PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud or Tableau;
• Optimally understanding of End-to-End logistic processes;
• Knowledge of agile methodologies for project management (e.g. Scrum, JIRA);
• Good communication skills in English;
• Teamwork spirit and hands-on mentality.
